Community Guidelines
Korlow is a sports-focused platform designed to help athletes and members of the sports ecosystem build relationships, share their journeys, discover opportunities, and advance their careers.
These Community Guidelines apply to everyone who uses Korlow.
By using Korlow, you agree to follow these Guidelines as well as Korlow's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Respect the Community
Treat other people with respect.
Korlow does not permit harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse.
Do not attack or demean someone based on personal characteristics, background, identity, athletic ability, career status, appearance, or other protected characteristics.
Disagreements are allowed. Abuse is not.
2. Protect Athletes and Young People
Korlow includes athletes who may be under 18.
Everyone using Korlow must interact with young athletes appropriately and professionally.
You must not:
- sexually exploit, groom, solicit, or sexualize a minor;
- request or distribute sexual or intimate images involving a minor;
- attempt to move a young person into an inappropriate or exploitative relationship;
- use recruiting, coaching, representation, sponsorship, employment, medical, media, or other professional opportunities to pressure or exploit a young person;
- misrepresent your identity, authority, organization, credentials, or intentions when interacting with an athlete;
- encourage a minor to conceal inappropriate communications or relationships from a parent, guardian, organization, or appropriate authority.
Korlow may restrict communication or other functionality based on age, account type, relationship status, safety controls, or applicable law.
Attempts to bypass those protections are prohibited.
3. Professional Communication and Recruiting
Korlow connects athletes with coaches, scouts, recruiters, agents, organizations, brands, sponsors, medical and performance professionals, media professionals, and other members of the sports ecosystem.
Professional outreach must be legitimate and relevant.
Do not:
- send deceptive recruiting or representation offers;
- falsely claim to represent a team, league, school, organization, agency, business, or athlete;
- fabricate scholarships, contracts, sponsorships, trials, roster opportunities, employment, or other opportunities;
- pressure someone into accepting an opportunity;
- repeatedly contact someone who has rejected or closed an inquiry;
- circumvent Korlow's Connect, inquiry, messaging, blocking, or communication controls.
Acceptance of a connection or inquiry does not create an employment, agency, scholarship, sponsorship, representation, or other contractual relationship.
Users are responsible for independently evaluating opportunities and people they meet through Korlow.
4. Authentic Identity and Credentials
Use Korlow honestly.
Do not impersonate another person or organization.
Do not intentionally provide materially false information about your:

Parody or clearly non-deceptive content must not be used to mislead people about who you are.
5. Athletic Profiles, Statistics, and Career Information
Athletes may use Korlow to document seasons, statistics, highlights, affiliations, accomplishments, recruiting information, and career history.
Do not knowingly fabricate athletic achievements, statistics, affiliations, awards, rankings, contracts, scholarships, or credentials.
Corrections and legitimate updates to career information are allowed.

Sexual exploitation, sexual solicitation, non-consensual sexual content, and sexually predatory behavior are prohibited.
Any sexual exploitation or sexualization involving minors is strictly prohibited.
8. Harassment, Threats, and Violence
Do not threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, or encourage violence against another person.
Content depicting sports contact or legitimate athletic competition is not prohibited merely because the sport involves physical contact.
However, credible threats, glorification of targeted violence, or attempts to organize real-world harm may be removed and may result in account restrictions.
9. Hate and Discrimination
Do not promote hatred, dehumanization, exclusion, or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
Korlow may remove hateful content and restrict accounts engaged in hateful conduct.
Legitimate discussion of discrimination, sports policy, history, news, or personal experiences is permitted when it does not itself promote prohibited hatred or abuse.
10. Privacy and Personal Information
Respect other people's privacy.
Do not publish another person's highly sensitive or private information without authorization, including information that could create a meaningful risk of physical, financial, or personal harm.
Do not attempt to obtain private contact information by circumventing Korlow's access controls.
If Korlow provides a controlled contact-sharing feature, use that information only for legitimate purposes connected to the reason access was granted.
11. Messaging, Media, and View Once Content
Korlow may provide private messaging, media sharing, voice messages, and limited-view media features.
The existence of a private communication feature does not permit abusive or illegal conduct.
Do not use private messaging to:

- pressure someone into sharing personal information or media.
Content designated as temporary or limited-view should be treated with the privacy expectations associated with that feature.

If someone blocks you, do not attempt to circumvent that decision through:
- another Korlow account;
- another person's account;
- repeated connection or inquiry attempts;
- alternate communication surfaces within Korlow; or
- coordinated harassment.
Korlow may restrict accounts that attempt to evade blocks or other safety controls.
13. Reports
Users can report profiles, posts, conversations, or other activity that they believe violates Korlow's rules.
Submit reports in good faith.
Do not intentionally submit false reports to harass, retaliate against, or silence another user.

Do not use Korlow to organize, facilitate, promote, or solicit serious illegal activity.
Content documenting legitimate sports, training, newsworthy events, education, or public-interest matters may be permitted when it does not facilitate prohibited conduct.
